Main Problem:
- Want some kind of small carrying device for their cleaning supplies, plus a steam mop, and possible room for their own belongings.
- Corporate Identity is a big deal for their business.
- They want this carrying case or whatever to be light-weight.
- Not necessary but possibly some kind of door hangers “maids at work” ? (if there is time)
General Info:
-Sub Contract all the maids that work for them. (Neli)
- Maids responsible for all their own expenses.
- Usually work within a few block Radius
- Rarely have to carry that many supplies with them, minus their own belongings.
-They have regular clients that continually visit. So they wouldn’t really be riding all around the city.
List of Supplies Used and Other Related Info:
- Only use eco friendly products in concentrate, so they don’t have to carry as much of it. (organic)
- Prefer to use a steam mop rather then a chemical treatment. Because it is less harsh on the floor, and environment.
- Most of the supplies are provided by their clients for them and other supplies are usually just carried as a back up.
- Carry about 20 lbs of supplies at the most.
Bike Info:
- Would like to use just a standard women’s mountain bike
- Currently only one of the maids rides to jobs
- Nothing is ever left with the bike or would be when used if possible. (afraid of theft)
- Not all the maids are completely behind the riding aspect.
- Definitely needs to be a logo on the supply carrier on the bike.
Assorted Measurements and other Numbers:
- The steam mop that is used is roughly 1 ft across at the base. And is about 4 ft tall.
- They carry about six 7 inches tall spray bottles.
- About 3 Sponges are carried.
- Carry a hand held scrubbing brush that is about 6 inches wide.
